Skills & Knowledge & Experience: I started programming and working with computers when I was about 10 and got straight into QuickBASIC. Soon after I taught myself languages like C, Pascal, SQL as well as a few others around at that time. During the first 2 years of uni (98-99) I learnt many other things such as hardware and operating systems. I also learnt many new languages such as MS Access, Modula-2, Assembly, C++. Haskell, Java, Lisp, Prolog and 3D Graphic coding. After getting onto the Internet in 98, I also learnt HTML, CGI and JavaScript. I have self-taught myself most of these things and find I pickup new technologies, concepts and languages quickly. In 2000 I took a year off University to work for a year at Atlas Travel Technoligies doing a variety of Web Based work including some ASP, HTML, C, CGI, Javascript, Flash and CSS. In 2002 I got a job at My Travel Network and worked there from Janurary thru to October performing a variety of jobs from Visual Basic creation to Data Manipulation to MS Access Database creation. Hobbies & Interests: Besides filling time creating new web sites and programs, I enjoy going out with friends doing just about anything. I also like taking photos of everything and driving fast when I can. When I am home, which isn't that often if I can help it, you will find me on the IRC server irc.uq.edu.au talking to my friends while I watch TV (Comedy and Sci-fi). You will also find me downloading vast amounts of TV Shows off the net and watching them, then burning to CD. My CD collection is over 1000 these days. |
