WHY………It’s a mystery you have to be there………..Avis Launch of new incentives 2008 – 2009 Prizes for Winners and Losers on the Day
PLEASE EXPLAIN !!! Breakfast …… Where?? Morning Tea… Where?? Lunch… Where?? Activities …. Lots of Fun
At 7:30, there were 2 busses to pick us up, and we ended up at the Avis depot behind the Airport We arrived at 8, had a Bacon & Egg roll, plus a coffee, before we were split into 17 teams, each with their own car. We were then sent on a Navigation Run, with a quiz to fill out along the way.
Our First Check point was at the ANZ stadium, then we arrived a Sirromet wines for Morning Tea & for our second check point Our Navigation run lead to the Holden performance driving centre, where we had lunch and were Brocken up into 4 groups. We had 4 activities that we got to participate in Activity 1 – We drove around in a Barina that had a wok attached to the bonnet, inside the Wok is a tennis ball, the aim was to drive around the track without the Tennis ball falling out and without knocking over any witches hats. Activity 2 – Turntable - simulates various 'out of control' situations, which we had to then try and take control back of the car. Activity 3 – Was judged on time, we all got to drive a commodore weaving through witches hats, doing a U-turn at the end and driving straight back. Activity 4 – Was being a passenger for the Hop Laps.
After the activities we had afternoon tea, the prizes were announced, and then we boarded the buses back to Brisbane.

Hi Everyone
Welcome to my website. I’m currently in my 4th week of training at the AOT Group, as part of our training they send us away to the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast for a famil (familiarization) to visit properties (hotels & apartments) and conduct a site inspection, which involves seeing 2 – 3 different rooms, depending on their availability and seeing all the facilities the property has to offer. Plus we also get to visit a couple of the local attractions.
Last weekend we had our very first famil of visiting the Gold Coast. All transfers, accommodation & meals were paid for. It was a fantastic weekend away with a great bunch of people (13 of us).
Simon made me this website so I can post all of my pictures and document my famils.
Enjoy browsing!!
